Our history
Design. Development. Heart.
The foundation stone of the herzbach brand was laid as early as the 1960s by Wilhelm Herzbach, grandfather of the two current managing directors Olivier and Sebastian, with the first fittings. At the beginning, business was still conducted in the home office - with a typewriter, fax machine and analogue telephone. Success was not long in coming, so that with persistent work, the development into a solid company with several employees, a corresponding warehouse and an expanded product range took place. Under the management of the founder's son Helge Herzbach, the company advanced to become a reliable partner for the trade and installers in the following decades.
At the end of the 1990s, under the leadership of Olivier Herzbach, the first creations for fittings series were developed in-house - the herzbach brand name was also launched. This was followed by high-quality product series for bathrooms and kitchens, which were distributed by a sales force. In addition, with Sebastian Herzbach, contact with architects was strengthened and sales developed further. In 2019, the company's own office building in Henstedt-Ulzburg was inaugurated and the warehouse was centralised. With Pauline Herzbach, who takes care of the company's social media activities, the fourth herzbach generation is already waiting in the wings.
